is a fruit from a vine-bearing plant. Its vine either spreads along the ground
or climbs nearby trees.

color.

Properties and Uses:
Sheikh's opinion is that cucumber is harder to digest than
melon. It is eaten peeled and often with salt. It promotes urination, relieves
heat and inflammation in the stomach and intestines, quenches thirst, and
benefits hot-tempered ailments, insomnia, and heat-related fevers. Its cool
juice is beneficial for bilious, bloody, and phlegmatic fevers. During intense
fevers, its pulp is applied to massage the soles of the feet. The seeds also
have similar effects. If there is difficulty in urination, a syrup made from
its seeds can be consumed. (Non-toxic)
