Dates are renowned, with Iraqi dates being considered the best. Half a
kilogram of dates provides approximately 1,275 calories.

the stomach, liver, and enhance physical energy, making them ideal for people
with cold constitutions. Their seeds help stop diarrhea, halt bleeding from
burns, and promote weight gain. Dates are also beneficial for cold diseases,
paralysis, and stroke, and they cleanse wounds. When used as a tooth powder,
they polish teeth. In Hyderabad Deccan, fresh juice from date palms is given to
tuberculosis patients, as it is non-toxic.
